The Cottage

Location suited our needs to get onto where we needed to be.

The Boiler was broken when we arrived. We were there to attend a my son’s homecoming parade the next morning and having travelled 9 hours from Scotland were disappointed that there was no hot water for showers. All 4 adults required to wash with kettles and cold showers that night and also in the morning. Obviously no heating either. The hosts were very apologetic and arranged a plumber who arrived at 20:15, however boiler required a new pump. The repair was carried out on Saturday afternoon. We received a bottle of wine as an apology. Cottage had everything we needed. It is a bit dated and could do with a bit of a facelift, a deep clean and I would also recommend a lock on the bathroom door and some new couches/chairs as they were very uncomfortable. The lock situation wasn’t ideal as there were 4 adults staying for 3 night.
