Enjoy a laid-back and relaxed holiday, experience wonderful nature and maritime environment in the area around the piers or visit rich fishing spots in connection with a strong, well-known tidal current nearby. The surrounding area offers many experiences/activities: Austråttborgen, a Renaissance castle from 1656. Austråttlunde landscape conservation area with a rich bird and plant life. 8 km to Brekstad with a grocery store, restaurant and express boat connection to Trondheim and Kristiansund. Right next to the marina there is a separate building for gutting and filleting fish. There is an smoking oven, good freezer capacity and cupboard space to store fishing equipment.
