The Washington is a charming studio with one bathroom, located within a historic West Village guest house. Positioned on the second level, this inviting retreat blends classic New York character with modern comforts in one of Manhattan’s most sought-after neighborhoods.
Hardwood floors, tall ceilings, and large windows create a bright, welcoming atmosphere. The studio features a full-size bed, a renovated private bathroom, and a kitchenette with a microwave, mini refrigerator, and coffee maker. Air conditioning and thoughtful furnishings add comfort and convenience throughout.
Set on a picturesque, tree-lined block, The Washington is steps from Abingdon Square, Hudson River Park, the High Line, popular restaurants, boutique shopping, and vibrant nightlife. To finalize your reservation, all guests must pass a mandatory third-party screening process.
The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of the West Village, guests can enjoy one of Manhattan’s most charming neighborhoods, known for its historic brownstones, tree-lined streets, boutique shopping, and renowned dining scene. The property is just moments from the High Line, Hudson River Park, Chelsea Market, and the Meatpacking District, with convenient subway access to the rest of New York City.
Other Things to Note:
Pet Policy: Pets are allowed with owner approval and a one time $350 charge.
Rove requires a property rental agreement to be signed by the primary guest prior to arrival for all reservations at this home.
Please note that there is no washer/dryer inside the unit. Guests have access to multiple shared washer and dryer units located within the building.
As a reminder, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property, in the home or in the outside areas of the home. Smoking will result in a odor removal fee of no less than $500 and up to $1,000 as well as possible removal from the property.
Monthly Housekeeping Policy: For all reservations with stays of 60 nights or longer, a full mid-stay cleaning by our housekeeping team is required every 30 days. The required mid-stay cleaning fee(s) will be invoiced immediately prior to the service and upon coordination of a suitable date and time for the cleaning to take place.
Security deposit
Stays up to 89 nights: $2,500 credit hold
Stays between 90 and 179 nights: $5,000 credit hold
Stays of 180 nights or longer: Cash security deposit equal to one month’s rent
All security deposits are processed as a credit card hold 2 days prior to arrival and released 2 days after departure, or as a bank transfer for stays of 180 nights or longer.
