Closer to home, the village inn offers the perfect pit stop after a day’s exploration on the moors. Discover the ever-changing landscapes of Exmoor National Park, wandering along meandering footpaths through open moorland, wooded valleys and breathtaking clifftop viewpoints. Follow routes through the beautiful Barle Valley (12 miles), or head towards the twin coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth (17 miles), linked by their historic funicular railway.
