About this house rental
Nestled in a wonderful rural position in the Southern Uplands on the outskirts of Langholm, this property enjoys far-reaching views of the Esk Valley. Excellent walking, biking and hiking routes are available from your doorstep including the Southern Upland Way and the Reiver Trails, or you can enjoy fishing on the River Esk. Langholm boasts a great range of local amenities including the Buccleuch Centre, a theatre and arts venue, independent shops, friendly inns and eateries. Visit the nearby Samye Ling Buddhist Centre, Rock UK adventure centre, and Kielder Water and Forest. There is also St Mary’s Loch or Grey Mare’s Tail to discover, a mesmerising waterfall plunging 60 metres from Loch Skeen. The property is perfectly positioned for touring the Scottish Borders, Lake District, Hadrian’s Wall Country and Northumberland.
From the mansion’s gardens, enter the fully enclosed indoor courtyard. Step inside this charming property into the hall and move through to the well-equipped kitchen.
