About this apartment rental
Built in 1707, this spacious ground-floor apartment in the heart of pretty Keswick blends historic character with modern luxury. With three bedrooms it’s fabulous for couples, friends and families looking to explore the Lake District. You'll be surrounded by independent shops, welcoming eateries and plenty of local flavour, with pubs, restaurants and shops all within 100 metres. Pick up fish and chips (350 metres) for an easy supper back at the apartment or browse for local produce in the town's vibrant market atmosphere. Locally, visit the famous Derwent Pencil Museum (150 metres) or Keswick Museum and Art Gallery (0.5 miles). At Derwentwater (0.5 miles) you can go on scenic cruises and hire motor boats and keen walkers can enjoy the spectacular 10-mile route around the lake. Outdoor enthusiasts can tackle Skiddaw (5 miles) and Blencathra (7 miles), while at Bassenthwaite Lake (4 miles) you can go wild swimming, paddleboarding and boating.
Inside, you’ll have a welcoming open-plan living space with deluxe underfloor-heated tiled floors throughout. Two sofas and an easy chair provide comfortable seating, the Smart TV and a large bay window with panelling provides a cosy place to relax after a long walk. Solid oak furniture brings warmth and style to the space, and the well-equipped kitchen and dining area provide space for leisurely breakfasts and sociable meals. There’s also a small utility room with a washer/dryer. The king-size bedroom features a large bay window an easy chair and an en-suite shower room. The second has a super-king-size bed. The third bedroom has twin zip-and-link beds that can be converted into a super-king-size bed. All three bedrooms feature quality furnishings and luxury linens. The family bathroom includes a shower over the bath and WC.
Outside, guests can take advantage of the generously sized shared garden, which is equipped with outdoor furniture for relaxing in the fresh air. Younger visitors will love the children's play equipment. The apartment also benefits from two allocated spaces in the complex’s private car park. Secure bike storage is available on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability.
