Rest and recharge at this delightful cottage on the edge of Grasmere village, ideal for couples or solo travellers seeking a peaceful escape to the countryside. The property is set in a quiet conservation area with no passing traffic and is an easy drive to explore the wealth of attractions across the breathtaking Lake District. Less than 100 metres from Dove Cottage and Wordsworth's House and Museum, and a mile on foot to National Trust Allan Bank House, there is every opportunity to enjoy a car-free day. Walkers will love the location with plenty of wonderful walking for all abilities – Easedale Tarn, Silver How, Helm Crag and Rydal Water are all within 3 miles. Spend the day on the water at Lake Windermere or head north towards the historic market town of Keswick and enjoy the walk up to atmospheric Castlerigg Stone Circle, all within 15 miles.

Parking is by way of permit on the nearby LDNPA car park at Stock Lane, only a 350-metre walk from the cottage. You can pull up close to the property to load/unload.
