Cottage in Malvern Hills District

About this cottage rental
From rugged beams to large sash windows and flagstone floors, this impressive escape is full of historic architectural features. With art on the walls and an eclectic variety of vintage, antique and modern furnishings, it has a laid-back, country style and also feels bright and welcoming. Step into the pretty kitchen to find plenty of open shelving, a range-style cooker and a breakfast table for four. The adjacent dining room has a more formal feel, with a large table and an open, ornamental fireplace. From here, stroll through to the lounge, where a wood burner in an exposed-stone wall creates a warming focal point, surrounded by soft seating. If you need entertainment in the evenings, there’s a Smart TV here, too. At the far end of the ground floor is a light-filled family room, with double doors to the garden. Take the open-tread stairs to the first floor, where there’s a large landing with seating options. The double bedroom to the right (with a characterful, uneven wooden floor) is a generous space with its own dressing room and a private balcony, as well as an en-suite shower room. The second double bedroom is another delightful option, with beautiful furnishings and ample storage. Completing this impressive interior is a family bathroom with a bath and a separate shower.
The exterior spaces include an outbuilding that serves as a utility room, with an additional fridge and freezer, plus a washing machine. There's a sheltered area set up for outdoor dining, and extensive lawns, perfect for ball games or exercising the dog. A sweet rotating summerhouse makes a picturesque focal point and has lovely seating for a morning coffee or a sundowner. The site comprises 25 acres of land that you’re welcome to explore.
