Gather six loved ones for a stay in this characterful converted hop kiln. Named as one of Herefordshire's first farm buildings to become a holiday cottage, this distinctive home continues to reveal plenty about its agricultural past, like the half-cruck trusses, vaulted ceilings and original beams. The location is brilliant for walkers, with the slopes of the Malvern Hills within 2.5 miles, and the Wye Valley gorges within 14 miles. Spend hours moseying around National Trust’s Brockhampton (7 miles), where a moated medieval manor sits among orchards and parkland. Ledbury (10 miles) is close enough for an afternoon of perusing independent shops and picking up groceries, while Leominster’s (20 miles) antique shops are ideal for anyone who enjoys hunting for unusual finds. Malvern Three Counties Showground is 9 miles away.
Step inside this former hop kiln to be welcomed with exposed wooden beams, original stone walls, and an open-plan lounge/diner that beckons you to relax.
