Located on a farm 10 miles from Liskeard, it’s a perfect retreat for couples, friends or small families wanting to get away from it all. You can explore woodland paths and nature trails across the estate, taking in the stunning scenery as you wander. And although it may be tempting to stay here, the coast is just 5 miles away. Spend the day discovering rock pools and sheltered coves at Talland Bay or enjoy traditional seaside fun at East Looe Beach with gentle paddles and walks along the famous Banjo Pier. Slightly further along the coast lies the historic fishing village of Polperro (6 miles), home to a charming model village and smuggling museum.
Set on raised decking, the pod is a cosy private sanctuary where comfort and simplicity blend perfectly. On cooler evenings, fire up the wood burner to fill the space with a warm, inviting glow. The sofa bed is a snug spot to curl up with a book, and it can also be used to sleep up to two extra guests. In the kitchenette, you'll find all the essentials you need for simple, indoor holiday cooking including a 2-ring hob and a fridge with ice box, with local treats awaiting in the welcome hamper. A separate sleeping area features a comfortable king-size bed dressed in crisp Egyptian cotton sheets and soft hypoallergenic bedding for a restful night's sleep. Completing the pod set-up is a shower and composting WC, accessed from the decked area outside.
Cook dishes on the BBQ in your own outdoor space as the sun gently dips below the skyline and settle in for an evening of stargazing. Safe dog areas are designed to keep your energetic companions secure and entertained, with a shared exercise paddock ready for them to run and play freely. Additional shared on-site facilities include a hot tub, gym and fairy trail, while alpaca treks around the grounds offer an truly unforgettable experience. Private off-road parking is provided for one car.
