Ideal for lovers of the great outdoors, this picturesque spot boasts fantastic walking routes and beaches nearby, including the National Trust’s White Cliffs of Dover (7.5 miles) and Folkestone’s variety of sand and shingle shores (6 miles). Enjoy the soothing sights from Sandwich and Pegwell Bay, where expansive dunes and a nature reserve make it a must-do for wildlife enthusiasts, while keen golfers may want to sink the 27 holes at the Championship links course, Prince’s Golf Club (18 miles). Foodies are also well served in Kent, with an impressive selection of Michelin-starred restaurants, gastro pub lunches, and fine seafood that stretches along the coast.
