About this apartment rental
Set up a long lunch on the shaded wraparound lanai, then decide whether the afternoon calls for the pool, tennis, or A-Bay. Shores at Waikoloa 214 is a polished, second-floor two-bedroom condo that sleeps five and makes indoor-outdoor living feel effortless. Picture windows look toward the neighboring lagoon and resort pool area, while glass doors open the living space to the covered lanai. Central air conditioning, wood and tile floors, a full kitchen, cable TV, and an in-home washer and dryer keep life inside comfortable. The complex also offers a shared outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness room, tennis court, and BBQ area. With Waikoloa dining, shops, golf, and beaches nearby, this is a thoughtful home base for a family or friends who want equal parts downtime and easy access.
The Space:
Take the elevator to a bright, single-level home where wood and tile floors meet a back wall of glass. Those windows frame the lagoon and pool area, and glass doors lead to the shaded lanai that wraps two sides of the living space. Two bedrooms, two baths, central air conditioning, a full kitchen, cable TV, and in-home laundry create a comfortable setup for up to five guests.
Guest Access:
Guests at Shores at Waikoloa enjoy access to the shared communal pool, hot tub, and fitness gym, plus BBQ grills for easy evenings outdoors. The complex has an elevator for convenient access to units and is set along the golf course with beach access nearby. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.
The Neighborhood:
Waikoloa Beach Resort sits on the Big Island's sunny Kohala Coast, where black lava fields give way to warm, clear water. Anaehoʻomalu Bay, known locally as A-Bay, is the easy choice for a beach day, sunset stroll, or a paddle on calm water. Kings' Shops and Queens' MarketPlace keep dining, groceries, and browsing close, while petroglyph trails and coastal golf add a distinctly Big Island backdrop. It is an easygoing base for families, couples, and friends who want beach days without a complicated plan.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive up the Kohala Coast. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, restaurants, and the resort area's shops with ease. Waikoloa Beach Resort keeps some shopping and dining walkable, while nearby beaches and Waikoloa Village are a short drive. Parking is generally available in resort lots or on site at most properties.
