About this apartment rental
Take your coffee onto the private lanai and look out over the ocean, pool, and resort grounds before the beach day begins. This studio sleeps three in the Lanai Building at Islander on the Beach, with a kitchenette for snacks and simple breakfasts, air conditioning, and fast WiFi when you need to check in with the world. The beachside pool and hot tub are only steps away, while the shore itself is close enough for an unhurried morning walk. Coconut Marketplace is within walking distance for lunch, groceries, or a browse through the shops. When you want to explore, Wailua River, kayaking, and East Side waterfalls are nearby. Return for a drink at the tiki bar or dinner from the shared grills and keep the evening easy. It is a comfortable, well-connected Kauai stay for a couple or a small group who values a view and a location that does the work for them.
The Space:
The private lanai looks over the ocean, pool, and grounds, giving this studio a strong sense of place from the moment you arrive. The room includes air conditioning, fast WiFi, a full bath, and a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Sleeping space for three makes it a flexible base for a couple or small travel group.
Guest Access:
Guests at Islander on the Beach have access to the shared outdoor pool, hot tub, BBQ grill area, and beach access. The resort grounds provide easy outdoor space to relax between beach outings.
The Neighborhood:
On Kapaa's East Side, you can fill a day without ever going far. Coconut Marketplace is an easy walk for food, coffee, groceries, and small shops. The Ke Ala Hele Makalae coastal path is nearby for a sunrise walk or bike ride beside the water. Wailua River offers kayaking close by, with Opaekaa Falls a scenic detour inland. Kapaa town adds local restaurants, bakeries, and a lived-in island feel. Staying here puts you in a useful middle spot for heading north toward the beaches or south to Lihue, then coming back to the shore.
Getting Around:
Kapaa sits along Kauai's Royal Coconut Coast, about 15 to 20 minutes from Lihue Airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring the island, though the main strip along Kuhio Highway is walkable, with beaches, shops, restaurants, and the popular coastal path all within easy reach on foot. Grocery stores and casual dining are close by. Parking is generally available at condos and along the street, making this an easy, low stress base.
