⚠️ Septic System Monitoring - The property uses a holding tank system that is professionally serviced regularly. A septic alarm tower is located in the backyard and may activate if the tank reaches capacity. The system is typically pumped monthly and proactively monitored to ensure uninterrupted guest stays.
🚮 Trash Collection - Trash pickup occurs every Monday. Please ensure all trash is properly secured in the designated containers.
🌿 Lawn & Snow Removal - Professional lawn care and winter snow removal services are being coordinated to keep the property maintained year-round.

Seasonal Fruit Fly Notice
Every year, about this time, the house is flooded with fruit flies. It is not normal, the screens will be covered, and they are so thick that they fly in waves in your face. We are built on an old orchard plus by the bay, so it's terrible.
We discovered that the first year they entered through the master bath vent, so that needs to be ON ALL THE TIME.
Plus, there are apple-shaped fruit fly traps under the coffee maker cabinet. There is also apple cider vinegar. If you put the ACV in there plus a drop of dish soap, that takes care of them. We also pour boiling water down every drain at checkout to kill any eggs. The traps fill up fast, so they also need to be emptied and refilled at every cleaning.
The season lasts about a month and usually begins around this time
