About this cabin rental
This Charming Cabin (located 12 miles north of Traverse City and 30 miles east of Sleeping Bear Sand dunes) offers plenty of room for two families to vacation together or is cozy for one family to enjoy as well. Swimming/boating in the all sports lake, building campfires and singing songs, grilling and enjoying a great meal on the large deck are just a small fraction of things to enjoy on your vacation. Let the children explore the 3 1/2 acre property while you relax in the hot tub. Cooking is a dream in the large kitchen.
Curl up with a good book by the gas/stone fireplace or play one of the many card or board games offered in the cabin. Have your first cup of coffee in the gazebo and watch the sun rise. Bring your bikes and ride the Leelanau Trail to Suttons Bay or Traverse city. You will build lasting memories with your friends and family at our cabin on the lake.

Really nice place to stay. We have stayed here over the 4th of July for the last 10 years. The only complaint is the queen bed mattress in the second main bedroom which doesn’t give good support.

This was the perfect place for our family and our friends family. It was clean and had comfortable beds. The kids had fun at the beach and making s’mores. The location is perfect. The deck is even better in person. Very large with lots of seating so we could all be outside at the same time. Definitely recommend if you have a large group!

This is the 4th year our family has stayed at the "big house" at the West Wind. We had a fantastic time as always!
