The Space:
Tucked away on the bank of Fightingtown Creek, this dog-friendly Georgia cabin has all the comforts and amenities you could want during your stay! Inside, you'll find beautiful wood-paneled walls, a wrought-iron spiral staircase that leads up to the second level, and a wood-burning stove perfect for heating you back up after a day in the water. Put on a big family event out at the firepit while swapping river stories with your guests, then enjoy a good read on the porch swing.

Head on over to Papa's Pizza To Go, just two miles away, for their specialty pizzas, fresh cold subs, and quesadillas. Katz’s New York Deli is a great place to enjoy a Reuben sandwich or soup of the day after an afternoon on the river. Check out Habanero's Fresh Tex Mex for their rice and beans, enchiladas, and tamales. Bear Claw Vineyards & Winery has awesome wine tours, live music, and events, and is just a quick 9-mile drive south. Additional attractions include Mercier Orchard, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, kayak rentals on the Toccoa River, whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River, and shops and restaurants right on the river in McCaysville.

This place was amazing and stayed an additional night and very easy to get that done before checkout. The home is deep in a woodsy area, make sure you have a good vehicle for going up or down single car gravel roads. There is no WiFi but if you move in certain areas of the home you can get little cell service just to call the family to let them know you’re okay. There is cable to watch movies. Make sure to bring fishing gear. There is a WalMart maybe 15 minutes and bought a fishing pole and surprisingly caught one big rainbow trout and a bunch of tiny fishes. The rush of the water is very peaceful. A few minutes Mcaysville where they have touristy shops and lots of places to eat. Highly recommend if you want peace and quiet. Will do that again soon. 5 stars!!!!!!!

This adorable cabin is perfect for a serenity break from the outside world. The photos depict exactly how the cabin looks. The location directly on the creek is breathtaking. Come prepared to be ‘off the grid’, but you can also sow a short walk and get cell service if needed

Pretty cabin with beautiful natural scenery! Clean and comfortable. The Christmas decorations were a touching extra! Really pleased, no complaints. Close drive to restaurants and shopping.
