About this house rental
Welcome to Ponderosa—a freshly updated, pet-friendly cabin tucked in the woods just 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, home to the area’s best dining, shopping, and charm. Unwind by the gas fireplace, gather around the outdoor firepit under the stars, and enjoy a peaceful mountain escape. Conveniently located near Mercier Orchards and close to McCaysville for additional dining and shopping!
The main living area features an open layout with a 55” TV and gas fireplace. The indoor dining table seats up to 6 guests. A king-size pull-out sofa is also available for additional sleeping if needed.
The full kitchen is equipped with the essentials for cooking, along with a drip coffee maker to get your mornings started. Please note there is no dishwasher.
The primary bedroom includes a king bed and private en-suite bathroom with a tiled, walk-in shower that offers a more quaint space. The second bedroom features a twin-over-full bunk bed, and the second bathroom includes a tub/shower combination.
Outside, you’ll find a spacious porch with a dining table and grill, along with a yard area featuring a firepit and cornhole. The home is pet-friendly and can accommodate up to 7 guests.
Guests have full access to the entire cabin, including all indoor living spaces and outdoor areas such as the porch and firepit. Parking is available for 2 cars directly at the cabin for easy arrival and departure. 4WD not required

-Guests must sign a rental agreement and may be asked to provide ID. Primary renter must be 25+. No parties or indoor smoking.
-Pet-friendly (fees apply; see policy). Exterior Ring camera monitors entry.
-Located in a wooded area—wildlife possible. Please secure trash in bear-proof cans.
-Firewood not provided (delivery available with 7+ days advance notice).
-Gravel driveway; parking for 2 vehicles; does not require 4WD
-Starter supplies included—guests provide additional items.
-Please report any damages upon arrival to avoid responsibility.
-Holiday weekends require 3 night
*Gas logs are only available October through March.

-Primary renter must be 25 years or older
-Guests may be required to sign a rental agreement and provide valid ID
Occupancy & Use:
-Maximum occupancy must not be exceeded at any time
-No parties, events, or large gatherings
-Only registered guests are permitted on the property
Pets:
-Pet-friendly (maximum 2 dogs; no other pets permitted)
-A pet fee applies per stay
-Pets must be house-trained and well-behaved
-Pets should not be left unattended unless crated
-Guests must clean up after pets inside and outside
-Any damage or additional cleaning caused by pets will result in extra charges
Smoking:
-No smoking or vaping inside the home
-Evidence of smoking indoors will result in additional cleaning fees
Cameras & Security:
-An exterior Ring camera is in place monitoring the entryway for security purposes
Trash:
-All trash must be bagged and placed in the bear-proof container outside
-Loose or unbagged trash will result in additional cleaning fees
Property Care:
-Guests are responsible for leaving the home in reasonable condition
-Any damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning required will be charged accordingly

-Guests must follow all posted fire safety guidelines
