Step inside to discover a well-equipped haven with premium amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen, laundry facilities, a hot tub, fire pit, outdoor grill, high-speed internet, and TVs with streaming service options. Start your mornings on the front porch, sipping coffee and soaking in the serene mountain vibes. In the afternoons, gather with loved ones on the cozy back porch surrounded by trees, and in the evenings, enjoy quality time around the fire pit under the starlit sky.

With dog-friendly accommodations, a range of sleeping options including a king bed, queen bed, twin bed, and bunk bed, as well as a variety of amenities to enhance your stay, Lazy Bear Cabin ensures a comfortable and memorable experience. The resort has updated how guests gain access to the amenities on site. The guest will be responsible for purchasing amenity passes at the POA office. Monday-Saturday 9 am- 5 pm. Amenity passes are $59 per card. Each card allows 4 guests to use the amenities during the reservation dates. The POA only takes checks or money orders for payments.
The outdoor pools are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day only.
Fireplaces are operable from October 1st – April 15th only.

My husband traveled to Elliljay on Business. The cabin was fine. His stay was fine. He had no issues with the cabin. He wanted to extend 1 night. We reached out to the host online and did not get a timely response so I tried to "Chat" with VRBO. Apparently, that is not a real person. I received canned responses. The quote I was given for the 1 night stay was outrageous. I have extended my stays in the past with other platforms and never had this experience. The cost for the 1 extra night was 40% of my entire cost for 4 nights. Checking out and not extending was the only option. Now the cabin is empty on a Tuesday night when the owner could have gotten another night rental on an empty calendar night.
