The Good: Location, History, and GroundsThe highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the hotel's rich history and breathtaking atmosphere. Located in the beautiful and secure El Mouradia district, the property feels like an oasis away from the city center. I absolutely loved the historic, nostalgic scent of the old building, which adds immense character to the experience. The botanical gardens are world-class, and spending time by the beautiful swimming pool surrounded by lush greenery was incredibly peaceful.

Unfortunately, the property is far too old and desperately needs a complete, top-to-bottom renovation. Everything in the guest areas feels incredibly worn out, particularly the old, dusty carpets that need to be replaced immediately. More importantly, basic room functionality is lacking. The toilet in my room would not flush properly due to extremely low water pressure, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this stature. There is a total lack of guidance or proactive assistance from the staff. No one is around to show you where to go, explain the amenities, or help you navigate the historic property.
