Fresh, Fully Equipped 4 Bedroom Home

The cleanliness of the house.

We stayed Saturday to Sunday as it was my nephews birthday as our sister lives 5 minutes away so the location is fantastic! Its a 5 minute drive into Corby town centre. The house is located in a cul de sac and so no through traffic noise and there was parking along the street. Loved that the hosts had thought of the things that you might need or forget on a night away. Tea, coffee, sugar, hand soap, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid to name just a few. This is a great idea and we found it super helpful, thank you! Plenty of towels available. Beds were comfy too! The house was clean and the carpets were nice and fresh. We had a good stay and would certainly come back.

Personally there were a couple of things that could be improved on..... there are some spikey bushes on the entrance to the property which could do with being cut back, the window frames/windows themselves could do with a good clean inside. The TV works for APPs such as Netflix, YouTube but their is no aerial for it to be able to work using Freeview (not a major thing but could be for some people) The blind in the front bedroom doesn't go all the way to the end nearest the head of the bed meaning the street light and morning light comes straight in. There aren't enough plugs in the bedrooms. The front upstairs bedroom had a lamp but no plug to plug it into. The double room didn't have a lamp or bedside table. Could do with hanging rails in all the bedrooms or some storage. The garden needs the stinging nettles removed from the back door area and some outside furniture would have been great to be able to sit outside. I feel like the garden might be on the list for the hosts to do, but the nettles definitely need removing as we couldn't let the toddler out in the garden which was a shame.
