Bethel Haven

House was ideal for our needs for weekend as we were attending a wedding in nearby Kettering. Plenty of space and beds (bedrooms), also toilets (3) and showers (2). Most areas generally clean enough

Needs a good deep clean (especially conservatory) and re-decorating. Otherwise all good with clean sheets and towels available. Good communication with hosts

Location, number of rooms, host and owner were amazing, comfy beds.

Needed to be better equipped, tea, coffee, more towels, cleaning products, the owner did bring things to us and said we didn’t need to clean, basic amenities, more towels. Somethings need updating

The property was lovely and clean and accommodated my family comfortably.

If I can be picky, l would say that maybe have more pots, oven trays and chopping boards in the kitchen considering that the house accommodates a big group.

Location was ideal for 3 day swim meet at Corby pool. Number of rooms and beds suited us perfectly for 2 families sharing. Beds were reasonably comfortable. WiFi good. Shower in ensuite good pressure and temperature.

On arrival numerous cars parked in area supposed to be for property. Managed to call owner (mobile reception almost non existent) who blamed neighbours, however spotted car keys for main car in the cupboard at the property, odd! Parked on slabs and grass as parking on road was disliked by neighbours. Property was not clean. Ants all over kitchen floor (bought ant powder), bits in sink drainer, freezer drawers grimy, fridge not too bad. Conservatory was full of cobwebs, dead spiders and rubbish on floor. Garden needs some TLC, glad we weren't intending on using it. Kitchen oddly equipped, no chopping boards at all, 2 wine glasses, but loads of cereal bowls! Main bathroom shower curtain in need of replacement. Ensuite was ok if you forgive the big crack in the sink. Each bed was assigned a set of towels (so couples had to share) which is strange as I deliberately confirmed numbers before staying. A real shame, as the property is just in need of a good clean and a paint job to bring it up to holiday let/rental standard. We should have gone on the one genuine review on here.
