Living and dining
One open room wrapped in windows and plants, with sofas, embroidered pillows and Mexican folk art. The Day of the Dead mural fills the wall behind the dining table, a perfect backdrop for a group dinner, especially in late October and early November when the whole city celebrates.
Bedrooms
Every bedroom has AC, a full bathroom of its own (two ensuite, one just outside the door) and bold Mexican colors, with woven throws, embroidered cushions and a handmade doll waiting on the bed.
Arrival
We leave a welcome treat of Mexican candies, water and beer, coffee for the morning and fresh towels and toiletries in every bathroom.
Guest Access:
The whole apartment on the 4th floor is yours, including both private balconies. A doorman is at the building entrance 24/7: he welcomes you and activates the elevator, which opens directly into the apartment. One free parking space is available in the building.
The Neighborhood:
You are on a quiet, tree-lined street in Condesa, with a bakery, cafes and a convenience store on the corner. Guests call the block safe, walkable and picturesque. Avenida Amsterdam's ring of restaurants is an 11 min walk, Parque Espana 14 min and Parque Mexico 15 min. Roma Norte's Cibeles fountain is about 22 min on foot, and Chapultepec Park and Castle are a short ride away. In late October and early November, the neighborhood fills with Day of the Dead altars and marigolds.
Getting Around:
You do not need a car. Metro Patriotismo is a 5 min walk, and most of Condesa and Roma Norte is walkable. Rideshare is quick and easy for Chapultepec, Reforma and the Historic Center. The airport is about 8.5 miles away by car. If you drive, one free space is waiting in the building.
Other Things to Note:
• There is a security camera in the building's entrance lobby; there are no cameras inside the apartment.
• A noise decibel monitor measures sound levels only (no recording), to help keep the building quiet.
• Quiet hours are 9 PM to 9 AM. No parties or events and no smoking inside.
• Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM.
• Housekeeping during your stay is available for an extra charge.
