Monterey Lodge is a historic mountain retreat surrounded by 96,000 acres of Tuscarora State Forest. Once an 1800s schoolhouse turned hunting camp, the rebuilt 2012 lodge sleeps 10 comfortable (up to 12 with the 2 trundle beds) and offers sweeping mountain views, a wraparound porch (with rocking chairs), hot tub, game room, and Starlink internet. Located just 5 miles from the village of Blain for quaint markets and essentials, and close enough to Carlisle to enjoy the famous car shows—yet secluded enough to feel completely relaxed.

We keep the house stocked with essentials - Including a coffee bar. spices, paper plates, oils, condiments. There are Smart TVs/Chrome cast on each floor (pre-loaded with YouTube TV). Disconnect completely or work remote while enjoying some of the most quiet and beautiful scenery you will ever find. Quality knives and cookware. Cornhole boards, darts pool table, ping pong. board games too. Hot tub has integrated speakers and lighting. the view from the hot tub is almost as good as the one from the porch above.
