This is a special place! Nancy and her husband are exceptional hosts and so friendly. They both are world travelers with an abundance of knowledge about EVERYTHING. The food was exceptional, from the homemade waffles to the honey from Nancy's beehives. The house is filled with treasures. We felt like we had gone back in time (in a good way!) I rated the value lower because we stayed during Penn State graduation which makes all lodging in the area spike in pricing.
Wish we could have stayed longer.

The home built in 1895 is still owned by the same family. It was clean and packed with period furnishings. Our host was full of interesting information about the house and the the town. Breakfast was served on period tableware and breakfast was visibly pleasing.

The owner is delightful. She really went out of her way to welcome us and ensure we had everything we needed. She makes the breakfasts, which were gourmet. We had waffles and apples one day, and bananas foster with souffle the next. Delicious
