If you enjoy staying in an historic property in an historic location with Civil War period furniture and decor and within a short walk to downtown Gettysbury, the Tillie Pierce House Inn is ideal. If you want a gym, pool, spa services, go to some chain hotel.
I liked everything. One suggestion is to have displayed a pamphlet/info sheet about young Tillie Pierce. It's a great story about a young girl who was an eyewitness to the battle of Gettysburg.

A great location that was very easy to find. A clean and spacious room. The included breakfast was wonderful both days.

The location was very good.
We were led to believe from previous reviews that the breakfast was exceptional. In our experience it was very poor. The staff were informed that the bread was mouldy but failed to provide any replacement. We appreciate that the accommodation was historic but felt that it was too dim and fusty.
