Great host! Plenty of communication when we booked, as we got closer to our stay, when we checked in, and followed up after to make sure we enjoyed our time.
Tiny cottage was just as described. Our family of four had a great stay (plus one significant other). Living and dining area are open and spacious. Kitchen is new and comes with what you need to bake or cook on the stove. Fridge was clean and worked well. We liked it in the area off the kitchen as it was a perfect place to pack a cooler for the day at the beach. The bedroom with twin beds as well as the living and dining room both have ceiling fans. The other two bedrooms have comfortable beds. Shutters on the lower half of the windows allow you to let the light in with privacy if you don’t want to draw the shades. Bathroom on first floor functioned perfectly for our family. Shower had great water pressure, temp control, and can be handheld which is great because it is a smaller stall.
Our first night we bought a disposable table cloth, ordered lobster dinner for our family from Off the Boat Lobsters (about 10 min drive) and they cooked them and we enjoyed a fabulous lobster dinner at the picnic table in the back.
Location is perfect and you can basically park and forget about driving if you want as short sands is just a fantastic area. This is a desirable neighborhood to stay whether you have kids or not because there is so much to do for all ages. (Highly recommend bowling barefoot at Fun O’Rama!) Safe location!
The shed has beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and cart to make a trip to the beach easy! Bring your own beach towels.
Overall, we enjoyed our time and if you love beach, shops, taking walks, having fun and options for great restaurants you don’t have to drive to, just drive up and enjoy.
