Misty Vale Cottage at Kloppenheim

We had a wonderful stay at MistyVale Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the best of Dullstroom in such a beautiful and peaceful setting. The self-catering unit was extremely comfortable and beautifully equipped, with a kitchen that had everything we needed, including utensils, pots, pans, cups, crockery, and other essentials. We especially appreciated the added hotel-style amenities, including the spa, fly fishing, jacuzzi, and variety of activities available on the premises. The hosts went above and beyond with their great attention to detail in the unit and thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Having firewood provided for the fireplace was a lovely added touch and made the evenings even more cosy and relaxing. The peaceful and quiet surroundings provided the perfect escape, allowing us to truly unwind and enjoy our time away. We were very impressed with the care and effort that went into making our stay comfortable and memorable. We would highly recommend MistyVale Cottage and is already planning our next trip! 😁

Tastefully furnished, great views, very comfortable

The service at the bar was pathetic. An hour wait for 3 toasted sandwiches and a fruit salad. The barman charged us for double brandies when they were only singles. The coffees at breakfast were disgusting

I really loved the place, I will surely come back. Everything was excellent and such a breathtaking location that provides tranquility.

Nothing

The perfect mountain getaway! We had such a wonderful weekend at Misty Vale Cottage. Perched up on the mountain overlooking the beautiful open fields, the setting is peaceful, private and absolutely breathtaking. We spent the weekend enjoying a relaxed braai and putting together a delicious cheese platter using the well-equipped kitchen — the cottage has everything you could need. The cold evenings were made even better with a smooth red wine in hand, sitting in front of the crackling fireplace and catching up on some of our favourite TV shows. The in-house Wi-Fi and Smart TV were an added bonus and made those cosy nights even more enjoyable. Sunday afternoon was spent playing a round of putt-putt at the hotel, which is just one of the many activities on offer. It was the perfect way to spend a relaxed afternoon before heading back to the cottage. Misty Vale Cottage really offers the perfect combination of beautiful surroundings, comfortable accommodation and all the little touches that make a weekend away feel special. Whether you want to explore, enjoy the activities or simply relax by the fireplace with a glass of wine, it’s an ideal escape. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!
