Faro Central 3 by Homing

The apartment is spacious with two narrow balconies front and back with a table and two chairs on the front for the afternoon sun and the back has sliding windows with a washing machine at one end. The flat was sparsely furnished with rather cheap linen, pillows etc. It lacked some local Portuguese dressings in the room to make it a warmer holiday apartment. The flat is in a good position near the town centre with lots of restaurants around

There are sadly quite a few negatives which I feel should be stated in this review for this holiday apartment. 1: The flat is on the fourth floor (quite a climb) with no lift so not ideal for older people. 2: There was no welcome pack on how the apartment worked or a map of where it is in relationship to the town of Faro. It would make such a difference with places to visit and local amenities at very little extra cost. 3: The main shower room was newly fitted looked great but there was a smell from the drains, the water did not drain away in the walk-in shower so was impossible to have a good shower without the water spilling out on the floor and into the hall. There was no shelf in the shower for toiletries etc. There was a second shower with a rudimentary plastic curtain which I did use but again no shelf and shower spray was fixed and the hose leaked! 4: The main living room lacked comfortable chair to relax in which would makes such a difference. There was a sofa in the corner but not possible to move into a more comfortable resting area for six people!
