The Wish - Secure Garden, Off Road Parking

The location was lovely. Having off road parking was a real benefit. The house was a good size with most of what you'd expect and need and pleasantly decorated. It was super easy getting access as well. My boys liked the fact that one of the bedrooms had a TV in it and liked the huge TV in the lounge.

There wasn't a washing up bowl or plug for the kitchen sink and the sink was very worn. There was a loose panel on the laminate flooring in the kitchen that slipped easily and created a hole under the mat. This is a hazard. There was no anti-slip mat in the bath, and the shower wasn't great at all, being only an over the bath type that ran from the taps and didn't have much pressure. The single room was very small and only had a futon rather than a full single bed. It was fine for our 4-year-old but would not be suitable for an older child or adult. The towels & bedding was fresh and clean, although most of the bedding was 100% polyester sadly. The cutlery, crockery & cookware was also very clean but there were only 4 bowls for a 5-birth house. The rest of the property was clean where it was seen but under the cupboards need looking at. We also found a full cooked pizza in the oven that looked to only be a day or so old. There were no wheelie bins we could find or access and no information as to when bins were collected, so had to leave all the rubbish in bags in the kitchen. We couldn't leave them outside due to spotting some local foxes at night and didn't want to attract them.
