Adlerhorst Vacation Rental - Auszeithaus-Auders

The Adlerhorst vacation apartment (53 square meters) is located in the attic of the former barn and features 4 beds in 2 bedrooms and 1 sleep sofa in the living room, a bathroom with a shower, and a cozy kitchenette. On cold days, the wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth. From the rooftop terrace, you can enjoy magnificent views of the 3,000-meter peaks of the Ötztal Alps while dozing in the sun and savoring the tranquility here at 1,200 meters above sea level. The former farmhouse was renovated and expanded using eco-friendly and historic building materials and offers a healthy indoor climate that’s perfect for relaxation.

The Auszeithaus is located on the sunny side of the Pitztal Valley at an elevation of 1,200 meters in the hamlet of Auders, justthe village of Wenns. From the vacation apartments and balconies, guests can enjoy the impressive panorama of the Ötztal Alps and look out over the Hochzeiger ski and hiking area across the valley. The former farmhouse offers cozy vacation apartments but also serves as a meeting place for members of the sponsoring association and guests of the Auszeithaus. The Auszeithaus is a haven of peace where you can relax wonderfully. Right outside the front door, you can set out on hikes around the local mountain, the Venet.
The entire Auszeithaus was thoroughly renovated and expanded using ecological building materials (clay, wood, pure lime plaster, lime paint, etc.). The existing timber framing and natural stone walls of the former farmhouse were preserved and incorporated into the design. This creates a healthy indoor climate that is highly conducive to relaxation. Throughout the house, our guests can discover small details where materials have been reused—for example, a stair step as a windowsill or a former interior door as a bedside cabinet. This gives the house a special charm.
If the weather isn’t cooperating, our guests can test their craftsmanship in the house’s own woodshop and, for example, have the host, Franz, introduce them to the art of woodturning. And anyone looking for some socializing is welcome in the house’s common room, our cozy parlor.

On-site costs: The price includes rent, bed linens and bath towels, final cleaning, local tax, and utilities. If you bring your own bed linens and bath towels, the rent is reduced by 20 EUR per bed. Our seminar room is available for shared use for an additional fee. Check-in is available from 5:00 PM to 9:00, and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
