About this apartment rental
The `Silk-n-art` refers to my collection of silk wall hangings and fine art. This large 2 story apartment is in the best part of the historic district, quieter, softer, more gentile like the nearby mansions. Besides 2 king bedrooms each with private skylit baths, there is a private flex room with a gel foam sofa pull-out bed downstairs that can be used as an office or a bedroom. The rooms are graciously proportioned, the ceilings tall, and the wood floors elegant. The large Roku tv`s are on stands in every room to allow more tasteful art on the walls. The mattresses are gel foam and are extremely comfortable with hi thread count luxury bedding.
the towels are exotic, silver-infused, cotton meant to be hung and reused. The large kitchen includes a large dining area with 6 thickly-upholstered chairs and an inlaid mid century modern formal dining table. The kitchen and dining area are bright and well stocked. It overlooks a large private heavily planted patio deck with a small fountain.
Walk out your front door and there are gorgeous mansions in all directions. Forsyth Park is just two blocks west with some of the best architected mansions along the way! A unique coffee shop is one block to the east, and a Kroger`s is one block south. Walk north from Forsyth Park along Bull St. with its amazing shops and restaurant and you are led to River St, the oldest tourist hot spot.

I am available to help with anything you need to be more comfortable. But I know sometimes we all need to be left alone so be at peace if you want your own space.
One of finest neighborhood in the Historic District! 1 block from an incredibly earthy and artistic coffee shop and to a Kroger. 2 blocks from the Collins Quarter restaurant in Forsyth Park. Actually there are coffee shops and restaurants a very short walk in almost every direction, which is amazing for such a rich residential neighborhood!
Easy to walk to everywhere you would want to go. You will enjoy the free private parking space in the back.
One dog but zero cats are allowed and only if their nails are ground recently to protect the walnut and oak floors. $95 dollar pet fee. It is courteous to the comfort and feelings of others if you have your dog recently groomed before your trip. Shedding dogs not allowed. Sorry! If your dog sheds a lot but you decide to bring him, you agree to pay $125 extra fee. People hate renting a place with dog hair and so much extra cleaning time is required, sometimes causing the carpets to be cleaned every inch with masking tape because some breeds have hair that resist vacuuming.
Security cameras by the front and back door. Very private unit with no shared common spaces or entryways.
-Only non shedding dogs allowed
-no cats
-no pets on the furniture or bedding. No ink pens, food, drinks or makeup on the bedspreads or Linens. You will be charged for replacing them if your carelessness ruins them. Please report any stains that already exist within 1/2 of your check in to avoid being charged. I know this sounds strict but you will appreciate how clean and luxurious the bedding is once you see and feel them.
Please bring a crate if you plan on leaving your pet unattended and please keep your pet off the bedding snd furniture
BEDDINGS
Please do not sleep using the pillows with shams or with the brocade decorative top comforters. There are washable comforters and deluxe pillows with washable pillow cases underneath.
-do not eat or drink on the luxury bedding. Please hang towels up to reuse them, like you would at home. Do not put used towels on any wood floors as the moisture would damage them.
-please reuse towels as you would at home. These towels are infused with Silver ions to make them antimicrobial and woven with a wide warp to make them dry faster.
