Located just East of the famous Fountain at Forsyth Park, Mandy's Veranda is the charming Southern cottage you've been looking for!
Look for the white picket fence and colorful trim to know you've arrived. This friendly 1800s cottage has been updated to suit the needs of the modern traveler while still harkening back to old Southern charm. Put down your bags and kick your feet up inside the formal living room facing the front of the home. Adjacent, you'll find the open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops.
Toward the back of the house is a casual living space and flat-screen TV. A washer and dryer are ideal for extended stays, and a full bath is conveniently located for sleeping sofa guests. From this room, there is access to the deck with rocking chairs and a courtyard with a large seating area—the perfect spot for spending an evening sipping wine and recounting the day with loved ones.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and two full baths. The primary bedroom boasts a king-size bed and en suite bath. Across the hall, through the game parlor and writing room, is the second bedroom with a queen-size bed and a third with a Twin and Trundle. A full bath with tub/shower combo has Jack-and-Jill doors to accommodate both bedrooms.

Parking is on-street and non-metered, and it is first come, first served. Guests do not typically have trouble finding parking in this part of town. Guests are encouraged to keep note of the posted Sweep Zone signs.

Lovely home on a quiet street but very near all points of interest downtown and a half hour drive to Tybee. Groceries and other provisions conveniently available just a couple of blocks away. Easy walk to Forsyth Park and any number of other gorgeous, historic squares and parks. Excellent in-home guides on history of the property and recommended restaurants and pints of interest. We dined at Husk, Olde Pink House (our favorite), B. Matthews and Vic’s. All servers and drivers could not have been more hospitable. A experience, despite the brutal summer heat.

We felt so at home! We took our daughter’s family of 5 to Savannah to start the summer off and spend time with grandchildren. It is an easy walk to breakfast spots (that welcome dogs in their outdoor spaces) and a tree lined 20 min walk to the River walk and Bay Street. After a day of sightseeing it was a welcome retreat!

This VRBO was perfect for our trip. It was spacious, comfortable, and the outdoor areas were great! Overall amazing experience, I would recommend to anyone coming to the area!

Pictures were deceiving. Outdoor area not kept up well, front or back. Location was not as described. Lacking some essential items for guest.Unfortunately, I would not recommend.
