Hello and a warm welcome to our comfortable “Ferienwohnung Glahr.” It’s nestled in the heart of unspoiled nature—surrounded by picturesque dunes, pastures, and meadows. Whether you’re traveling with up to four people or your four-legged friend, you’ll find a cozy vacation home here. The wide sandy beach, with wonderful swimming opportunities, is just a few minutes’ walk away.
Here, you can unwind, take a deep breath, and feel right at home. The 78 m² living space features a bright living room with a terrace, a spacious kitchen with a dining table, two separate bedrooms, and a bathroom with a shower and a guest toilet.
You can easily prepare breakfast together or pack snacks for your outing in the fully equipped kitchen—which includes a 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer and dishwasher, as well as a coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster. Enjoy your first morning coffee at the dining table with a magnificent view of the dune range, beyond which lies the Pirolatal valley.
After a bike ride or a day at the beach, you can make yourself comfortable in the living room and read a book on the couch or watch a good movie (satellite TV). Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, you’ll have an unobstructed view of the meadows and pastures. In addition to horses, you can spot numerous species of birds. Sometimes hares appear, and every now and then a deer as well. From the living room, you step out onto the south-facing furnished terrace with a garden and a beautiful view of the countryside—perfect for relaxing on a lounge chair or enjoying a meal together outdoors.
Two separate bedrooms invite you to sleep in and unwind. One of the bedrooms is furnished with a double bed (200 x 200 cm), and the other with two single beds (90 x 200 cm). Spacious closets provide plenty of room for your vacation wardrobe.
The modern bathroom, featuring a walk-in glass shower, toilet, and sink, as well as a mirror, cosmetic mirror, and hair dryer, adds to the comfort of your stay. An additional guest bathroom with a sink makes daily bathroom routines more convenient. There is also a separate washing machine here.
Practical amenities are provided, including a vacuum cleaner, a clothes drying rack, and an iron.
Wi-Fi is available free of charge.
For young North Sea vacationers, our family-friendly “Glahr Vacation Apartment” is fully equipped with a high chair, a crib, a safety gate, and outlet covers.
You’re welcome to bring your dogs. There’s a one-time dog fee of €50 per stay—regardless of how many dogs you bring. A dog bowl is also provided for your four-legged friend.

The popular “Gerk sin Spoor” beach access point, with its colorful beach chairs in the summer, is just a 10-minute walk away (or a 2-minute bike ride).
The Pirolatal viewing dune is located right near the house. It is one of the highest points on Langeoog and offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the island., When you stand on the wooden observation deck at the top, you’ll enjoy a fantastic 360-degree panoramic view of the North Sea, the dunes, the Wadden Sea, and the silhouette of Langeoog.
