Our bright and modernly furnished vacation rental “Else” in the Stranddistel building on the North Sea island of Langeoog offers you a true oasis of comfort for your getaway, spread over approximately 75 m² on the first floor. It can accommodate 1–5 people and is located on the first floor.
The “Else” vacation rental features a fully equipped kitchen, a living/dining room, 2 large bedrooms, a children’s room with a TV corner, a guest restroom, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Guests are welcome to use the garden, which is furnished with outdoor furniture.
Centrally located yet pleasantly quiet—Haus Stranddistel is ideally situated for enjoying Langeoog in all its facets. Just a 5-minute walk from the island train station, you can quickly reach everything you need from here: a supermarket, bakery, small shops, and the charming town center with cafés and restaurants are right around the corner.
The beach is also just a short walk away—perfect for spontaneous trips to the sea, walking barefoot in the sand, at sunrise, or on a long, balmy summer evening.
The sea holly (Eryngium maritimum) is a rare coastal plant that, with its silvery-blue leaves and spiky flowers, reflects the rugged beauty of the sea. It grows where the sand is still untouched—a habitat that is increasingly under threat. Just like the plant, the Stranddistel house also bears a name with meaning: it stands for something rare, precious, and worthy of protection.
