Romantic suite- Beach within walking distance- Old Antibes

Ho soggiornato dal 17 al 23 agosto. L'appartamento si trova nello centro storico di Antibes che è bellissimo. Ci sono un sacco di locali, ristoranti, pasticcerie, gelaterie, negozi ecc. C'è a due passi a piedi il museo di Picasso e c'è una spiaggia libera vicinissima. Il mare più bello si trova a curca 15 mn di auto. Le spiagge sono libere, con bagni pubblici e docce gratis quindi si può portare ombrelloni e sdraio tranquillamente. Ci sono pocchissimi lidi. C'è anche un parcheggio a pagamento dove ho fatto l'abbonamento settimanale perché era più conveniente. Ma volendo ci sono i mezzi di trasporto molto efficienti. La casa è bellissima, c'è tutto, anche la lavatrice. In Francia nei ristoranti/pizzeria non si paga il coperto e l'acqua (bisogna specificare però che si vuole la caraffa) altrimenti si può scegliere la bottiglia d'acqua a pagamento.

Pulitissima, accogliente, tutto nuovo. Bella e particolare la scelta della vasca. Cucina iperaccessoriata con bollitore, macchina caffé, tostapane, microonde e spremiagrumi oltre ai fuchi e al frigo

La scelta della vasca, comunque apprezzata, sacrifica gli spazi toilette. Strana la scelta di non chiudere lo spazio wc. Aggiungerei una padella antiaderente ed una casseruola diametro 20 cm

The place was carefully and thoughtfully decorated, clearly recently renovated and had lots of nice features. I am sure the owners worked hard to make it as welcoming as they could.

I did not like: The phone number to contact the host did not work. They later specifically told me (by whatsapp) only to communicate using booking.com, and not to use the phone. No one picked up the phone - ever. I was locked out of the apartment with no one to contact for an hour on arrival. The hosts had sent an entry method email which did not arrive in my inbox. There was no handbook in the apartment giving detail of how things worked. There was no bin in the apartment. There was no wifi key provided anywhere. This was only sent the day after I arrived. No apology was ever made for any of these shortcomings. It seems i was a nuisance to the owners. Not a guest.
