The apartment is newly renovated, very elegant and is equipped with everything you need – from a coffee machine to a large sun umbrella and a beach blanket. It is located on one of the central streets in Antibes Old Town which gets very busy and loud in the evening, but good sound isolation of the windows compensate well for the noise level. If you sleep in the bedroom, you won’t hear a thing. The AC in both rooms was a lifesaver during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. The closest beach la Gravette is literally around the corner. Also perfect communication throughout our stay - the host was friendly and always quick to help.
The beach is sandy with no showers at the entrance, so be prepared to bring sand into the apartment every single time, but it is just the Antibes reality, not the flaw of the apartment.

Die Lage ist das einzige, das bei dieser Wohnung perfekt passt. Wie es allerdings zu dieser Top-Bewertung kommen kann ist fragwürdig. Siehe unten.
Die Bilder auf Booking sind verschönert, die Realität ist eine andere Welt. Siehe Bilder. Der Boden war klebrig, die Bettwäsche grässlich, die Resonanz auf unser Feedback war „die Fotos unseres Reinigungspersonals zeigen einen perfekten Zustand“. Die Wände sind stark verschmutzt, Möbel fleckig, Pflanzen verdurstet. In Summe wirklich enttäuschend.
