About this villa rental
More than fifty years ago, after a memorable journey through the sun-kissed landscapes of Sardegna, my late husband and I returned home inspired by the beauty and charm of the villas we had discovered along the way. Captivated by their timeless architecture and effortless elegance, we dreamed of creating a place of our own that reflected the romance and warmth we had experienced during our travels.
On land that had been cherished by my family for over two centuries, that dream became reality. Together, we designed and built this villa in Ventimiglia, blending the spirit of Sardegna with the rich history of a property that has been passed down through generations.
For many years, this house was simply our private sanctuary—a place filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Today, I am delighted to open its doors and share its beauty, character, and story with others.

Private beachfront parking:
-While Villa Maria Pia is not located directly on the beach, guests can enjoy a dedicated parking space with private beach access for one vehicle.
-The parking area is located in a secure gated community, less than a 5-minute drive below the villa. -Tucked away and known locally as Le Gorgogne, this charming semi-private sandy beach is just a one-minute stroll from the parking area.
-Beach towels, folding chairs, an umbrella and a cooler with ice packs are provided for guest use.
Parking:
-The property offers a spacious two-car garage, along with a large gated driveway providing additional parking space for extra vehicles.
Comfort and Climate Control:
-All bedrooms, the office, and the second-floor living room are equipped with air conditioning.
-All windows and doors are fitted with mosquito nets and shutters for added comfort, privacy, and ventilation.
WiFi:
-High-speed WiFi is available throughout the property.
Bedrooms:
-The villa features three bedrooms. All bedroom windows are equipped with room darkening shades. --All bed linens are 100% cotton percale. Duvets are made with 100% high-quality goose down.
-Due to its modern open-concept design, two of the bedrooms offer partial rather than full privacy.
-Curtains have been installed in 2 out of the 3 bedrooms that do not have doors to aid in comfort and privacy.
-The two bedrooms without doors include the second bedroom which is partially visible from the foyer, while the third bedroom (with two single beds) is located on the first floor beside the study.
-The master bedroom includes doors for full privacy.
Bathrooms:
-There are two full bathrooms.
-The first-floor bathroom includes a bathtub with shower attachment, toilet, and bidet.
-The master bathroom features a two-person jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, toilet, and bidet.
-Both bathrooms are stocked with towels, hand soap, toilet paper, hairdryer, and complimentary travel-sized toiletry kits for your convenience.
Kitchen & Dining:
-The fully equipped kitchen includes all essentials for cooking and dining, as well as a refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, gas stove, oven, microwave, moka pot, electric kettle, and Nespresso machine (pods included).
-Starter supplies are provided, including bottled water, milk, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, oil, salt, and pepper.
-The villa offers three dedicated dining areas, located on the first and second floors, providing comfortable and versatile spaces for shared meals, entertaining and al fresco dining.
Laundry:
-A dedicated laundry area includes a washing machine, dryer, utility sink, iron and ironing board, two drying racks, laundry detergent, and softener.
Living & Lounge Areas:
-The main living room is located on the second floor, with additional lounge spaces in the first floor study and library on the third floor.
Outdoor Spaces:
-Enjoy a spacious terrace accessible from the kitchen, living room, dining area, foyer, and master bedroom, offering beautiful views of the Mediterranean.
-The property also features a covered patio and two additional balconies, each providing peaceful spots to relax and take in the sea and surroundings.
Study:
-A quiet workspace with a large desk and chair is available on the first floor.
Family Friendly:
-We welcome guests traveling with babies and children but request that they remain supervised at all times.
-For guests traveling with babies or young children, a travel cot is provided.
