House / Villa - Menton

A magnificent home with attention to every detail. Spectacular piazza overlooking the terraced gardens with lemons and clementine trees and, of course, views of town and the sea. Menton is lovely but if you never even leave this patio you will feel transported. We walked to town, grilled oysters on the charcoal grill, explored the secret stairways and sculpted grottos, and ate a lot of fresh squeezed orange juice and lemonade from the little orchard. State-of-the-art kitchen and bathrooms, tons of hot water and strong wifi, excellent location. There are books and magazines and lovely works of art. The historic details and design elements of Villa La Favorite are fascinating, from the marble stairway to the wrought iron gates. The winter weather in Menton is sublime, and we spent every evening watching the sun set. Our family of 6 was very comfortable here, and we look forward to returning very soon. We were 9 friends who stayed for a week and loved the house, garden and position. The views over Menton are fantastic and we ate every meal on the terrace. The swimming pool was also great. The house is very well equipped and everyone we interacted with was helpful and efficient. Thank you!

Beautiful old house which is well kitted out with modern amenities. Loved the rustic charm of this property, the excellent views of Menton, the terrace, the pool area, very comfortable beds and decent pillows. Upon our arrival we found a welcome basket with prosecco, jam, milk, coffee, breakfast biscuits, snacks for cocktails - basically everything you need for cocktails and that first morning without having to figure out where the shops are straight away. The manager and guardienne were both very helpful and accomodating. The house overall is old and in need of some repairs, the wifi is painfully slow. Overall we loved our stay there nevertheless and happy to go back again.

We liked everything about this house: the charm, the view, the decoration of the rooms, the privacy close to a lovely town, the garden and the swimming pool. It fully met our expectations. You can see that the owners take care of this beautiful heritage very well.

Nous avons passé 2 merveilleuses semaines d'été dans la maison. La maison est spacieuse, avec une atmosphère incroyable (voir photos) et bien équipée pour un grand groupe de personnes ou une famille. Le jardin assure beaucoup de calme. L'emplacement près de la gare permet d'accéder à d'autres villes de la Côte d'Azur, si vous voulez éviter de prendre la voiture. La vieille ville et les principales plages de Menton sont à 20-25 min à pied. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et avons l'intention d'y retourner, si seulement possible.

Wir waren 9 Personen und hatten alle die gleiche Meinung , besser geht es nicht.Es wurde uns nichts versprochen,was vom Vermieter,bzw. von FeWo Direkt nicht eingehalten wurde.Wir haben jede Minute genossen und uns sehr,sehr wohl gefühlt.Das Objekt ist ein Musterbeispiel für französische Kultur und Lebensauffassung.Die Innen und Ausseneinrichtungen sind perfekt.Wir fühlten uns wie Fürsten, denn es war einfach alles vorhanden. Eine Anmerkung noch: Die Concierce Natalie spricht weder englich noch ein bisschen deutsch.Wir hatten einen Notfall und mussten uns selbst behelfen.Das war nicht so einfach.Uns mit dem " elektronischen Dolmetscher " zu verständigen,hätte viel zu lange gedauert.Die Aussicht vom Objekt ist einfach hinreißend und wir konnten uns garnicht sattsehen.Der Besitzer beweist einen ausgezeichneten Geschmack und Erfahrung bei der Einrichtung der Villa.Da wir wunderschönes Wetter hatten,spielte sich unser gesamtes Urlaubsleben auf den Terrassen ab.Der Eisschrank hat natürlich unserer gesamte Freundesgruppe besonders gefallen.Wir werden wieder kommen und ein bisschen länger bleiben.Es hat sich in jedem Fall gelohnt, dieses herrlichen Fleckchen Erde kennengelernt zu haben.Der Weg in die schöne Altstadt wurde mit jedem Mal leichter,man hat sich schnell an die Stufen und den Aufstieg vom Strand zur Villa gewöhnt.Das Auto blieb fast die gesamte Zeit stehen,da man die umliegenden Ausflugsorte,wie Nizza, Ventemigla, Monacco, Grasse sehr gut und schnell mit der Bahn erreichen kann.Auch der Busverkehr ist gut ausgebaut.

Excellent séjour dans cette maison de caractère, confortable et fonctionnelle, avec une vue imprenable sur le vieux Menton.
