About this house rental
Sleeping up to 4 guests, the cottage is ideal for couples, families, business travellers and dog owners looking for a comfortable, well-equipped base with everything within easy walking distance. Whether you are here for a weekend break, a family visit, a work trip or a dog-friendly escape, the cottage is set up to make your stay easy and enjoyable from the moment you arrive.
The cottage is arranged over two floors. Downstairs, there is a comfortable living room with Smart TV and log burner, a separate dining room that doubles as a laptop-friendly workspace with fibre optic superfast Wi-Fi, and a well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and washing machine. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms — one king and one small double — and a family bathroom with bath and shower. A pull-out single bed is available in the dining room for flexible sleeping within the maximum occupancy of 4. Outside, there is a small enclosed space, perfect for dogs and a breath of fresh air after a day exploring the city.
The cottage is family-friendly, with a stair gate, high chair and cot available on request. Please note the stairs are steep, which may require extra care with young children. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, up to two, subject to an additional charge and the house rules. Dogs must remain downstairs and must not be left unattended.
Linen, towels, toiletries, tea and coffee are all provided. A digital visitor parking permit for one vehicle is included, covering Salisbury Zone B on-street parking across a wide area around the property. There are no physical passes — the permit is activated digitally around one hour before check-in and runs in 24-hour blocks. Guests must provide their vehicle registration before check-in. Please note that the two spaces directly outside the cottage are 30-minute loading bays and are not covered by the permit, but valid Zone B spaces are available nearby and are clearly signposted.
Salisbury is one of those places that rewards slow exploration. The city's medieval streets, Cathedral Close, riverside walks and independent shops, cafés and pubs are all on the doorstep. Salisbury Train Station, the High Street and Elizabeth Gardens are under a 5-minute walk away. Market Square is around 7 minutes and Salisbury Cathedral around 8 minutes. For day trips, Stonehenge, Old Sarum and the New Forest are all within easy reach by car or public transport.
We are Jack and Naomi, and we are delighted to host you. The cottage is set up for easy self check-in via a Yale smart lock, and we are always available through the platform messaging portal if you need anything before, during or after your stay.
