To ensure you have a safe and stress-free trip, we strongly advise driving a 4WD vehicle with snow tires. If you don't have the proper winter gear, we'd love to host you during the warmer months instead!

Property Upkeep: To keep everything beautiful, our Home Sweet Hudson team or local partners may occasionally drop by for routine maintenance during your stay. This includes services like lawn care, snow plowing, garbage/linen pickup, or hot tub and pool cleanings.

Parking & Grounds: Please use only the designated parking spaces provided. To preserve our natural landscape, camping equipment like tents or yurts are not allowed, and we kindly ask that you stay within our property boundaries to respect our neighbors.

A Smoke-Free & Safe Space: For the health and safety of all our guests, smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, and weapons are completely banned. When enjoying the fireplaces or firepits, please follow the provided safety instructions.

Caring for the Home: We love our bedrooms crumb-free, so please enjoy all food and meals in the kitchen areas. Additionally, our plumbing is sensitive—please do not flush wipes, paper towels, or feminine products.

Enjoying Nature (and Ticks): Bugs and ticks are a natural part of beautiful Upstate New York! Because tick prevention yard sprays are highly toxic to pets and local wildlife, we choose not to use them. We highly recommend checking yourself for ticks after spending time outdoors.

Good Neighbor Policy: We love our community! Please help us be great neighbors by keeping to our 9:00 PM quiet hours and keeping guest counts strictly within the maximum occupancy listed on your reservation. Parties are not permitted.
