About this house rental
This lovely little cottage has been renovated recently with love and an eye for detail.
Furnished carefully and with comfort in mind, this small but perfectly formed house invites you to relax upon arrival and to make yourself at home.
A cosy light filled cottage for 2 in the heart of Staffordshire Moorlands and it’s market town of Leek “The Sails” is a terraced property ideally positioned in the back streets of Leek just a stroll away from a butchers shop, fish n chip shop and the supermarkets (Asda and Lidl). An array of beautiful independent shops, cafes and restaurants are merely a hop, skip and a jump away. Whether you love to eat in or take away, there’s so much choice to offer.
An open plan sitting and kitchen area is light and airy, with a snuggle fireside sofa and comfy chair to ease you into your stay. No need to worry about making and preparing the fire, a simple flick of a switch and the flames and heat spring into action on the electric stove.
The modern kitchen is small but perfectly formed boasting all “mod cons” and a table and chairs. The utility area has french doors which open on the fully enclosed courtyard which is a rather lovely sun trap during the warmer months. Plants spill out of pots and a bistro dining set is ready and waiting for a peaceful cup of coffee … or two.
The original (but rather steep) stairs lead up to a comfortable bedroom. With plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe, a generously sized dressing table and a sumptuous double mattress, sleepyheads know they will sleep well at The Sails.
Finally, a shower room completes this cottage. Warm, to a large walk in shower and plenty of hot water ensure you feel suitably pampered.
Please note that The Sails features steep internal steps, which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or very young children. Extra care is advised when using the stairs.
