I honestly didn't expect to enjoy my stay here this much. Since this place is still quite new, I don't think there were any reviews on Booking.com when I booked it. After spending 2 nights here, I can confidently say that every Ringgit I paid was worth it. The location is only a short drive from Kundasang town. It's located behind Hidden Hill Kundasang, using the same access road, so it's actually quite easy to find. The only downside is the final road leading to the property. It's currently damaged with quite a few large potholes, so lowered cars need to drive very slowly and carefully. I personally wouldn't recommend arriving at night because the road is dark and surrounded by forest. Daytime arrival is definitely the better option. According to the owner, they're already working with the relevant authorities to improve the road, so hopefully this issue will be resolved soon. I arrived at night, so I couldn't really see the surroundings. But the next morning at around 6:30 AM... SubhanAllah. The breathtaking view of Mount Kinabalu right in front of the property completely amazed me. Waking up to that scenery alone made the trip worthwhile. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It came with one Queen bed and one Single bed, a private bathroom with hot shower, a kettle, mirror, clothes rack and good Wi-Fi. There's no air conditioner, but honestly, you won't need one because the natural mountain breeze is incredibly cool. We only switched on the fan a few times throughout our stay. There's no TV, but I actually think that's a good thing. It encourages guests to disconnect, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and spend quality time with family instead of staying glued to a screen. Outside the room, there's a nice sitting area where you can relax while enjoying the mountain view. BBQ facilities and a shared kitchen are available, complete with cooking utensils, pots, plates, cups and cutlery.

The only downside was the damaged access road leading to the property. Guests with lowered cars should drive carefully, especially at night. Other than that, everything was excellent.
