The veranda was excellent — spacious, with comfortable chairs and recliners. Inside, the property was very cosy, nicely decorated and smelled lovely, with really nice quality diffusers. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with a microwave, air fryer, cooker, toaster, kettle, large fridge/freezer and lots of plates, cups, knives and utensils. There were also lots of useful extras including an iron, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner and cleaning equipment. For one adult and a 7-year-old, we had everything we needed.

The main issue was how small the bedrooms and bathrooms were. The extra toilet was extremely cramped, and the sliding shower door was broken. Both adult bedrooms were very tight, with no proper space to put a bag or luggage. The children’s bedroom was also very small. It felt as though one original bedroom may have been divided into two smaller rooms. For two of us it was manageable, but I think it would feel very crowded if occupied by the full number of guests it is designed for. There was also limited kitchen worktop space, the veranda decorative lights weren’t working, and the clothes airer was quite unstable.
