About this chalet rental
Yonder is a contemporary and spacious five-bedroom, three-bathroom home set in the picturesque village of Harley, with uninterrupted views over the iconic Wenlock Edge, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Inside the open-plan layout includes a dining area and a modern, fully integrated kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine and Bosch appliances - with views across the large garden from all windows. There is a utility room equipped with a washing machine and dryer for convenience. A separate snug living room with a log burner makes for cosy evenings in.
The space opens out onto a generous balcony, perfect for taking in the scenery. The established lawned garden offers plenty of room for families to relax and play, complete with an outdoor children's play area and a peaceful outlook over pasture and a pond.
Upstairs and down, the bedrooms provide comfort and flexibility for families or groups. The master suite features a super king-size bed and ensuite, while a second bedroom offers a king-size bed with its own bathroom. Additional rooms include a double, a cabin-style single, and a bunk room with a double bed below and single above. The family bathroom includes both a bath and shower.
Yonder welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs, with bowls supplied and plenty of space outdoors for them to explore. Guests are asked to keep dogs under control as livestock may be nearby.
There is ample parking for at least five cars.
Located just two miles from the medieval town of Much Wenlock, Yonder offers easy access to Shropshire's best attractions. Explore the town's charming streets, historic priory, and independent shops, or venture further to Shrewsbury and Ironbridge for culture, dining, and family activities. Outdoor lovers will find endless trails and panoramic viewpoints along Wenlock Edge, the Long Mynd, and the Wrekin.
Shrewsbury, Shropshire's historic county town, is just a 20-minute drive away and offers a fantastic mix of attractions, from excellent dining and independent shops to galleries, a museum, and unique experiences like prison tours and river cruises. Its charming Tudor architecture gives the town real character, while Quarry Park—with its spacious play area and beautiful sunken gardens—is a highlight for visitors of all ages.

Absolutely fantastic location & stunning views. Very peaceful. Highland cows & calves in the fields next door were a bonus.
Could really do with some more outside furniture (only 2 fold-up chairs). Its a fantastic location & stunning views so would be really nice for everyone to be able to sit outside when the weather is good. Some things also need a little bit of maintenance. Microwave digital timer not working & Hob dial not working properly, so difficult when cooking. Freezer patched up/rusty? (doesn't look good!!). Kitchen Bi-Fold doors out of use. But overall the location & views outweigh these.

Absolutely stunning house in an incredible, peaceful location, with the most lovely views of cows in the surrounding fields. The property is tucked away down a very sweet little lane and was easy to find and accessible even for my dad’s large van, with ample parking for multiple cars. Check-in was seamless and stress-free. We booked this for a pre-Christmas family get-together so my parents, my brother’s family, and my grandma — who has been quite unwell — could all spend a special weekend together. Finding somewhere that was all on one level, dog-friendly, accessible, and workable for everyone travelling from different directions felt like quite a challenge, but this place was absolutely perfect. The location was even better than we expected. The bedrooms are gorgeous, with two particularly large rooms that have en-suites. The main living spaces were also super spacious and we could all be in one room together easily. We would highly recommend and would happily stay again.

A very beautiful place with stunning views and nice open spaces.
The house looks exactly like the photos — clean, tidy, and well prepared.
It can get a bit cold, but if you keep the doors closed, you’ll be fine.
The kids loved the playground outside.
We spent a quiet and relaxing weekend away from the city noise.
