About this cottage rental
This barn conversion cottage is located near to Westhope in Shropshire and can sleep up to twelve people in five bedrooms.
Trooper's Barn is a large barn conversion on the owners’ 250 acre farm near to the village of Westhope in Shropshire. The cottage can sleep twelve people and has five bedrooms, three of which are ensuite and two family bathrooms. There is also a sofa bed on the landing. The rest of the accommodation is made up of a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside the cottage is off road parking for five cars and an enclosed patio area with outdoor furniture, barbecue and a hot tub. There is also a shared games room and gym. With its neighbouring cottages, Trooper's Barn can sleep a total of thirty nine people in a lovely rural setting.

Belling electric range cooker with five ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 42” TV with Freeview, DVD, 3 x TV/DVDs, CD/radio, iPod dock, WiFi. Shared games room with pool table, table football, table tennis, selection of books, CD player and coffee machine. Gym with TV with Freeview and cross trainer, rowing machine, multi-gym and weights. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Honesty box for extra wood. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 5 cars. Enclosed patio garden with furniture, BBQ and private hot tub. Two well behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 6 miles, pub 3 miles.

Town: The scattered village of Westhope is located amidst rolling farmland at the southern foot of the famous Wenlock Edge in Hope Valley. The area is home to numerous walks, rambling trails and cycle routes whilst many of Shropshire's main attractions are within easy driving distance of the village itself. Visitors can enjoy Church Stretton - known to the Victorians as Little Switzerland - with its antique shops and tea-rooms, in the midst of the beautiful Long Mynd Hills and close to the Acton Scott Historic Working Farm and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. The World Heritage Site at Ironbridge, Attingham Park, the market towns of Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Ludlow are all within easy reach, leaving visitors to the area spoiled for choice.

Troopers Barn was a perfect location for our event at Westhope Green Burial Ground, and a lovely place to return to. We enjoyed watching the nesting housemartins.
