About this cabin rental
The Bothy is private and the perfect rural escape. Enjoy lazy days, long summer evenings, BBQs, tennis and sunsets across your own meadow.
Escape to a luxury Shepherd’s Hut with a wood-fired hot tub, in the peaceful North Shropshire countryside - short walk to a 17th-century pub.
Relax beneath the stars in the hot tub, or sit by the fire pit with blankets and roast marshmallows. Spend the day roaming the countryside or walk to the local pub, then return to total peace and comfort
The space feels wonderfully remote and private, yet everything you need is close by.
Perfectly situated for exploring North Shropshire, the Bothy is a short 15 minute walk to the local pub and close to beautiful countryside, canals, and nature reserves. Visit the nearby market towns Whitchurch or Shrewsbury, or head out to Hawkstone Park & Follies or Attingham Park. With a train station just a mile away, it’s an ideal spot for both rural escapes and adventurous days out.

Parking is free and a short walk (50 meters) across the field to reach The Bothy. We recommend bringing suitable footwear, especially in wet weather.
Anything you need throughout your stay, just ask. One of us will greet you on arrival, and wish you well as you depart, but otherwise we'll let you unwind in peace.
