Here you are completely on your own in the middle of scenic surroundings.
The cottage is simple but exudes spirit and history. It is an ideal starting point for nature lovers who want to explore Denmark's beautiful nature by hiking, canoeing, and kayaking—but also the perfect retreat for those seeking silence and contemplation.
The terrace in front of the cottage offers views of Himmelbjerget, Julsø, and wildlife. The forest in front of the cottage is full of trails, hammocks, and hiding places for you to explore.
The train station is only an 8-9 minute walk away and can take you to the museums and cafés in Aarhus. The antique shop in Laven is a gem with organic ice cream, good coffee, and specialty beers. You can buy what you need at the campsite 3-4 minutes away or at Kvickly in Ry, only 10 minutes away by car.
