This special vacation rental, located on the upper floor of a traditional thatched-roof house, was designed by the owner with a palpable love for the island and a refined sense of aesthetics. A retreat for two people who like each other or know each other very well: best friends or couples. Your dog is also very welcome. Equally perfect for golfers: peace, style, and relaxation after 18 holes. Drive time to the golf course: 15 minutes. Just 500 meters—about an eight-minute walk—separate you from the dike and, beyond it, the open sea. The crisp air, the expansive light, and the tranquility of the marshland accompany you every step of the way.
More than 65 m² of comfort under a traditional thatched roof, complete with a sauna for your relaxation.
The cozy living area is located on the upper floor and is complemented by a lovingly converted attic space—a quiet place to recharge and unwind.

On the expansive Ensemble grounds, your own beach chair is available to you every year from the first week of April through mid-October. Here you can experience those famous Föhr sunsets that bathe everything in golden light, make the vast marshlands glow, and bring the day to a close in such a peaceful, beautiful way.
Beach Days & Dog Heaven: It’s just a 10-minute bike ride to the popular Utersum Beach, ideal for relaxing days at the beach in a beach chair, short breaks by the water, or long, leisurely walks. It’s especially lovely for guests with dogs, as four-legged friends are not only allowed but warmly welcomed on the dog-friendly beach. Perfect for playful runs in the sand and shared moments in nature.
The Deichhof also offers:
- spacious meadows & plenty of room for peace and quiet
- barbecue facilities
- play areas for young guests
- washing machine and dryer (shared, for a fee)
- The apartment comes with its own parking space right in front of the house
- Bike racks are available throughout the property
