We loved our stay at the Lupine Loft. Immaculately clean lodging surrounded by the best of Alaska scenery. We are former long time Alaska residents, and were looking for a spot that would be a base for day trips to our favorite spots, like Seward annd Talkeetna, and provide easy access to our beloved local hikes. The Lupine Loft is two miles from the Eagle River Nature Center, and the drive down Eagle River Road, particularly later in the summer evening, is very likely to offer you a glimpse of local wildlife, including moose and bears. It’s an easy walk from the lodging to the river, utilizing a quiet neighborhood trail. The Lupine Loft was thoroughly stocked with everything you might want in the kitchen, including a wide variety of spices. One can tell that this place was a labor of love for the owners, and there are many thoughtful details that will make your stay comfortable.Thank you for a great stay, and we hope to return in the future.
