Villa Zafferano is an excellent base to reach easily Syracuse’s historic centre and the lovely sandy beaches of Arenella and Fontane Bianche. A short drive away are also the charming baroque towns of Noto, Modica and Scicli, the nature reserves of Cavagrande del Cassibile and Vendicari, Marzamemi, Portopalo di Capo Passero, Mount Etna and Taormina.
